Dossier Submission

Committee Evaluation
The Musical Steering Committee led by Rashad Aridi and Safi Aridi reviews vocal timbre, pitch accuracy, and repertoire.
In-Person Live Audition
Invited candidates perform a solo piece and complete sight-reading tests at the Baysour Cultural Sanctuary.
Company Induction
Accepted artists enter sectional rehearsals, masterclass coaching, and preparations for national gala debuts.
Candidate Requirements
- Precise vocal range suited to Soprano, Alto, Tenor, or Bass parts.
- Ability to maintain polyphonic harmony independently without drifting pitch.
- Knowledge of Levantine Arabic poetic cadence and emotional delivery.
- Fluency in Arabic Maqam quarter-tones, transpositions, and traditional Iqa'at rhythms.
- Proficiency in sight-reading scores and dynamic orchestral accompaniment.
- Instruments: Oud, Qanun, Nay, Violins, Viola, Cello, Riqq, Mazhar, Darbuka.
Rehearsal Schedule & Commitment
Sanctuary Base: Baysour Cultural Association, Mount Lebanon
Rehearsal Rhythm: Friday evenings & Sunday afternoons
* Attendance at weekly rehearsals is mandatory for concert participation.
